  • Japanese Retailer Teases 360 Final Fantasy XIII
Yes, yes, Kotaku knows. Square Enix has confirmed Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 for Japan only. While it's multi-platform in North America and Europe, there's been no official announcement of the Xbox 360 getting that title there. That doesn't stop this Japanese retailer from teasing the possibility of an Xbox 360 version of the game being released. A prophecy of things or come or merely wishful thinking?

  • 10 most unbelievable lines of dialogue from Too Human
    Fidgit's Tom Chick writes:

"Regardless of what I think of Too Human as an action RPG*, there's no denying that it contains some of the most memorable writing in a computer game since Richter barged in on Dracula and was told something about a man being a miserable pile of secrets. Early on in Too Human, I was sent scrambling for a pencil because I couldn't quite believe what I'd heard. I made sure to keep it handy throughout.

After the jump are the top ten most unbelievable bits of dialogue from Too Human."

  • Gamereactor reviews Too Human - 4/10
    the article writes:-

"No, Too Human is a waste, but its like. I would hardly think of the number of hours worked that has gone into this game, how much money wagered through the years and especially not on how well the concept Too Human really does, but for now are always exhausted"

  • HGM: Tales of Vesperia Review
    Dack writes:
"Poor Tales. Even though it's one of the longest running RPG series, it has never really gotten much fame in North America. Whenever people use examples of the RPG genre, the series always seems to get left out. This year, however, Tales is getting a jump on the competition with one of the first JRPGs on the 360, Tales of Vesperia. Is this the effort to finally break it into the mainstream, or will it be a forgotten and disappointing yarn?"

Kotaku writes: "Remember when we thought the Xbox 360 was sold out at one Japanese store? That's not all. It's sold out across the whole damn country. Like, sold out sold out. It's so sold out that Microsoft Japan actually put out an official statement about the situation in The Land of the Rising Sun, apologizing for the lack of consoles. Since demand has eclipsed supply, Microsoft's supply has gone totally dry. The company is ramping up production, and the console will not be shipped to stores until next month."

  • 1UP: Exclusive Crysis: Warhead Multiplayer Hands-On Preview
Crysis' multiplayer mode chased the right trend at the wrong time. Once, the success of the Battlefield series suggested a future in which competitive first-person shooters would grow in scale and complexity. Sequels to Unreal Tournament and Halo (as well as United Offensive and a Half-Life 2-themed army-versus-army game allegedly in development at Valve) introduced Battlefield-inspired bits. The genre maintained momentum -- with Frontlines: Fuel of War, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Unreal Tournament 3, and Crysis' online component, the following generation of shooters would emphasize and elaborate on vehicular combat and territorial control. None of these games, however, proved immensely popular. Instead, players turned to a pair of structurally streamlined, infantry-focused sequels: Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4. Suddenly, it seemed gamers were a lot less interested in aircraft and massive maps than persistent perks, stat tracking, and Achievements.
